Founded in 2005, PPL Media Oy has established itself as an international e-commerce expert with broad expertise in both technical and operational aspects. All technical development of our ecommerce platform as well as all operations are done in-house.

We have a long track record of working in all fields of e-commerce, including sales, marketing, technology, purchasing, logistics, customer service and management. We serve both B2C and B2B customers all over the world.

Full-stack e-commerce platform

Our technical multi channel platform is built in-house, and is tailored to our current business model. Not only an online shop front, but a complete ERP system. Flexible and extendable, the platform is being developed on a daily basis to meet all future requirements.

Proven track record

We have grown our niche store Crema, selling coffee, coffee equipment and accessories, from zero to a global multi-million business serving thousands of monthly customers worldwide. We operate three localised Crema online shops and more than 50 % of our orders are shipped outside of Finland. Our platform is a true multi-channel platform. As a proof of concept, our second e-commerce store - Urban Finn - was launched in 2018.

From local to global

 

Crema is a specialty store for coffee lovers founded in 2007. Crema is here to serve you with everything you need in the field of coffee, whether the coffee is enjoyed at home, at work or in a café. With more than 3000 coffee products we’re sure you’ll find a way to enjoy your favourite coffee!

Crema is both local and international. Crema.fi serves our Finnish customers whereas Cremashop.se was launched in 2015 to serve our Swedish friends. In 2017 we launched our international Cremashop.eu store, covering the whole world. More than 50 % of our sales is exports.

Our mission is to make life easier for mobile workers, commuters and business travellers with smart, traditional and practical items. Stylish bags for each purpose, filled with premium writing tools and small gadgets. Chic travel wallets and card holders with maximum protection. Travel mugs and bottles for that refreshing break from work. We concentrate on premium brands that are recognised for their quality and practicality.

We created Urban Finn because we work as developers, consultants and online retailers, and we felt the need for a one stop shop for quality items that make us productive.

By expanding our markets and our range of niche products, we can reach a substantial growth potential. Niche products have high demand when looking at the worldwide market. We can deliver our products to over 70 countries. In our marketing, we are constantly looking for new markets, customer segments and product groups.

Our in-house technical platform enables everything we do, from creating the perfect customer experience to advanced marketing segmentation tools and effective internal processes. The platform is developed daily with a long-term horizon of at least three years.
